Role definitions, invite flow, role-change mechanics, and ownership transfer.
Every plan includes team seats. Members get one of four roles that controls what they can do in the workspace. This page documents the role permissions in detail and the invite/transfer mechanics.
| Owner | Full control. Transfer ownership, change billing, delete workspace. Exactly one per workspace. |
| Admin | All owner powers except billing changes and workspace deletion. Can invite/remove members. |
| Editor | Run audits, deploy fixes, edit keywords, edit conversions. Cannot invite members or change integrations. |
| Viewer | Read-only. Sees everything; changes nothing. Suitable for clients and stakeholders. |
What happens next depends on whether the email already has an account:
Settings → Team → role dropdown next to the member. Change takes effect immediately, no re-login required. Owners cannot be demoted via this dropdown – see Transfer ownership.
Settings → Team → Remove. They lose workspace access immediately. Their user account and any other workspaces they belong to are untouched.
Settings → Team → Transfer ownership. Pick the new owner from the list of admins (you must promote a member to admin first if needed). After confirmation, the new owner gets full control and the previous owner is demoted to admin automatically.
